A South Korean delegation of university presidents and deans visited Hebrew University of Jerusalem on February 4th, 2020 and discussed research cooperation and academic exchange between the universities.

The delegation was represented by the following universities: Jeju National University, Jeonbuk National University, Gyeongsang National University and Chungbuk National University.

During the visit, the delegation met with with Prof. Zvi Wiener, the dean of the Business School at the Hebrew University and learns about the school activities and programs.

One of the programs introduced was “The Hebrew University of Jerusalem Executive Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program” which incorporates academic lectures, seminars, companies visit, in-practice exposure to the Israeli innovation ecosystem, all to provide an in-depth understanding of the unique phenomenon called the ‘Startup Nation’.

Mr. Itay Friedjung, the director of the program, explained the uniqueness of the program by tailoring it to the students and the content that interests them. Many delegations from all over the world come to participate in the program, including from South Korea.

Since July 2019, The Executive Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program is officially represented in South Korea with local team to support and manage Korean delegations to Israel.
