KOISRA was honored to be invited to Taste Spain in Seoul, hosted at The Ambassador Seoul – a Pullman Hotel. The event brought together Spanish food and beverage producers with Korea’s importers, media, HORECA professionals, sector associations, and other industry stakeholders.

Organized by FWS (Food Wines from Spain) and ICEX

The showcase was organized under the FWS (Food Wines from Spain) initiative, run and managed by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), together with their representative office in Seoul. Their team curated a focused program that enabled efficient buyer–seller engagement and meaningful discussions on market entry, distribution, and branding in Korea.

A Showcase of Spanish Flavors

Guests explored a broad range of Spanish products—fine wines and gourmet specialties such as honey, salt, canned seafood, and mushrooms—highlighting Spain’s regional diversity and commitment to quality, traceability, and export readiness.

Two Audiences, One Goal

The day featured a first session tailored to importers and press, followed by a second session extending participation to HORECA professionals, sector associations, and additional trade partners. This format supported targeted conversations in the morning and wider industry networking in the afternoon.

Spotlight on Castilla y León

KOISRA met excellent producers from across Spain, with a special focus on companies from Castilla y León. Their portfolios align well with Korean consumer preferences and channel dynamics, including premium retail, on-trade, and specialty import segments.

KOISRA’s Role in Spain–Korea Collaboration

As a Korea-based consulting and business development firm, KOISRA supports international brands with market entry strategy, partner search, B2B matchmaking, regulatory navigation, and on-the-ground execution. We look forward to continuing conversations with Spanish producers and Korean importers to explore practical, value-adding next steps.
