Yesterday, our CEO, Adv. Eyal Victor Mamou, was invited to give an online lecture to students from the Business School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The lecture was about the South Korea Economy, Korea business culture, Korean startups ecosystem and the Korean conglomerates economic effect on the market.

Doing business in Korea should always be taught in a cultural context. Without the cultural context and understanding of Korea's social and business structures, it is very difficult to develop good, long-term business relationships in Korea. In the course of the lecture, several examples were given of foreign companies that failed to enter the Korean market due to a failure to understand the domestic market and a reluctance to make necessary adjustments.

In addition, since these days the Coronavirus disrupts the way we live everywhere in the world, it was important to share and explain how South Korea manages the crisis and provide insight about how business continues to run in Korea despite the COVID-19 virus outbreak.

It's always great to speak and discuss with students and we hope it helps them to get a better understanding about the Korean business culture and the ecosystem. South Korea is a wonderful country with a well-developed economy and we are always happy to give lectures and do seminars on doing business in South Korea. Special thanks to Professor Yishay P. Yafeh for the invitation and hosting.
